I fell in love with baseball at the Astrodome in the 1980’s, where I watched Nolan Ryan dominate and Darryl Strawberry hit a speaker hanging from the roof during the 1986 Holm Run Derby.  I discovered baseball cards when I was 10 after moving to Colorado, and I was completely hooked.

Baseball has played such an important role in my life.  From playing the game growing up, to cheering on the Rockies, teaching the game to my two sons, and traveling around the country to baseball card shops and stadiums, baseball has always been there. I love the way it feels timeless, as we never stop debating things like who threw the hardest fastball and whether Shohei Ohtani is better than Babe Ruth.

In addition to watching games with family and friends and traveling to new MLB stadiums each year, I spend a great deal of time collecting vintage baseball cards. It’s amazing how fun amassing bits of cardboard can be!

I live in Centennial, Colorado, with my wife and two sons, who both attend Littleton High School.
